Paracetamol is used for the treatment of temporary fever, and symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain including headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, postoperative pain, symptomatic relief of rheumatic aches and pains and of influenza.
Hypersensitivity to Paracetamol or to any component of this medication.
Kidney and/or liver trouble or problems with alcohol.
When use in recommended dose the side effects are rare.
As side effects can occur allergic reactions, like urticaria, erythema and fever. In this case the treatment should be stoped and consulting the doctor.
Dosage and Administration:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: (weighting more than 40 kg)
500 mg -1000 mg 1-3 times a day.
Children over 3 years of age:
Dose for children is determined by weight. Maximum dose is 15 mg/Kg at most 3 times a day. Do not exceed this dose without doctor’s order.
17-25 kg: 250 mg 1-3 times a day.
25-32 kg: 250-500 mg 1-3 times a day.
Over 32 kg: 500 mg 1-3 times a day.
For children under 3 years of age and long-term use, only by doctor’s advice.
