Description
Indications:
Management of angina pectoris
Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension
Contraindication :
Bradycardia (less than 50 bpm), second or third degree heart block, sick sinus syndrome, decompensated cardiac failure, left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction, lactation and pregnancy.
Dosage and Administration:
Dosage may be taken with or without food.
Angina: 90 mg twice daily, or 60 mg 3 times daily. Dosage may be increased gradually to 120 mg twice daily, or 180 mg twice daily if required.
Hypertension: 60-120 mg twice daily, increased as required to a maximum of 360 mg daily.
