  • Pantothenic Acid (As Calcium Salt) 6 mg,

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

VITABAR MATERNITY has been carefully developed to help safeguard dietary requirements, from the start of trying to conceive and during all of pregnancy.

VITABAR MATERNITY contains a comprehensive formula to help safeguard all round health and vitality. Folic acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. The unique formula also includes zinc which contributes to normal reproductive health.

VITABAR MATERNITY does not contain vitamin A, as high levels are not advised in pregnancy.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have any of the following signs or symptoms that may be related to a very bad side effect:

Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

  • Black, tarry, or bloody stools.
  • Fever.
  • Very upset stomach or throwing up.
  • Very bad belly pain.
  • Throwing up blood or throw up that looks like coffee grounds.

Stomach cramps.

DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking one of these medications:

  • Aspirin
  • Medications containing diphenhydramine, biotin, fish oil, folic acid.
  • Gapapentin
  • Ibuprofen
  • Levothyroxine
  • Lisinopril
  • Magnesium oxide.
  • Melatonin
  • Multivitamins
  • Omeprazole
  • Sertraline
  • Tramadol
  • Trazodone
  • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin).
  • Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid).
  • Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol).
  • Cetrizine

HAZARDS AND CAUTIONS:

As with other supplements, seek professional advice before using if you are under medical supervision or suffer from food allergies.

As VITABAR MATERNITY contains vitamin K, if you are taking oral anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin) do not take VITABAR MATERNITY except on the advice of a doctor. Vitamin K is not known to specifically interact with the action of aspirin or heparin. Consult your physician or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.

Food supplements must not replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

HOW TO USE:

One tablet per day, with or immediately after your main meal. Swallow with water or a cold drink and take with a main meal. Not to be chewed. Do not exceed recommended intake. To be taken only a full stomach.

You can start taking VITABAR MATERNITY at any point during pregnancy.

There is no need to take an additional multivitamin.
