BARAKAT Pharmaceutical Industries L.L.C is one of the leading-well established and most inveterate Syrian private companies specializing in the production of human medicines. The Company was founded in 1972 in Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria, and could in no time manage to position itself at the very vanguard of the pharmaceutical and health sector not only in Syria but also in the Arab World. BARAKAT operates in total compliance with the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) norms set by the WHO. These norms are controlled by and a superior, hi-tech quality control lab, divided to three labs:

• Chemical Lab
• Physical Lab
• Microbiological Lab

Owing to its unremitting pursuit of perfection, the company had been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

A great deal of BARAKAT’s success is attributed to its technical staff which incorporates a number of highly qualified experts. Over 300 employees from various scientific walks are systematically kept updated by means of special training programs set up periodically by the Board to ensure the company’s advancement, cooperating with different global institutes.
